Joy Makes a Difference

Kids N Kritters participant and young animal activist Joy, a fifth-grader (here with her dog, Maggie) made a presentation to her principal this week about AARF, requesting permission to head up a fundraiser at her school. She also is working on leading a "poop-a-thon," during which she and others would clean up her neighborhood in exchange for donations to support homeless animals.
Joy has been an animal lover as long as she can remember. She does petsitting for her neighbors and helps out with the family’s dog food delivery business, and she has set her sights on one day creating her own animal shelter. In the meantime, she is teaming up with AARF to use her incredible talents and caring to help homeless pets today.
