Last year, 11-year-old Joy set her sights on creating an animal shelter for homeless pets called The Joy of Joy's Pets. In March, she raised money for AARF with a Poop-a-Thon that cleaned up her neighborhood and raised $250. Now, she's creating a school program that will teach elementary school children about animal rescue, and encourage them to think about adopting a rescue pet.
