Also a tremendous help at the event was 9-year-old Caria (check out her cool puppy backpack!). She volunteered with her mom and helped make this a fabulous day for lots of dogs looking for their "forever homes."
Thanks, everyone!
Kids N Kritters member Joy Longley, 11, is finding exciting new ways to make a difference for homeless pets. In her neighborhood, Joy is working on coordinating a "poop-a-thon" for this spring. She and others will clean up after the dogs in her neighborhood in exchange for donations to support homeless animals. If you would like to get involved, or if you have your own idea for a fundraiser, let us know by emailing info@kids-n-kritters.org. Joy is a true inspiration to her classmates and neighbors, and she is a tremendous young champion for homeless animals! Thanks, Joy!
